It is currently home to over twelve large resorts making it quite the site for tourists as well as residents. It has a population well over 14,000 strong. The Arizona Military Museum, the Heard Museum, and the Pioneer Arizona Living History Museum are all within Maricopa County. Shopping and dining in the area are not to be missed!
