Spend a Day on the Town with Wireless Internet

It’s Saturday and you have all kinds of plans and errands to do, but you are in the middle of a major project at work. Everyone involved is told that they need to keep in touch with the office throughout the weekend, and even submit bits and pieces of work as well. Does this mean you are stuck at home and at your desk all weekend? For many the answer to such a question would be a resounding yes, but for those with wireless Internet the answer might just be “not at all”. This is because anyone who has access to 4G or fourth generation services will find that they can use the robust signal to perform all of the same functions as they do in their office, but without the need for the old-fashioned “land line” connection.

This means that someone who might have otherwise been tied to their computer all weekend could simply grab their laptop or netbook and their wireless modem and head out to do their errands. While waiting in line at a grocery store they could use their netbook to see if there were any messages from work, and while sitting at lunch they could send over a file or two that might have been requested. They could even join in on a webcam conference to speak directly with supervisors and other co-workers.

It is important to understand that 4G Internet is absolutely nothing like third generation networks. While those with a 3G ready wireless device might be able to access a few thousand websites that have been especially rewritten for mobile users, someone with 4G WiMAX would be wirelessly using the real Internet with its billions of sites, pages, and features.

Fourth generation wireless Internet services are viewed as completely comparable to modern Broadband service. This means lightning fast download times from the home, office or while on the road, and the ability to do demanding operations like streaming video, game playing, video conferencing, and data transfer. This is the reason that someone using wireless Internet services would be able to still enjoy their free time over the weekend, even while everyone else is stuck at home or in the office.

In addition to allowing someone to enjoy mobility, the 4G services also allow them to enjoy remarkable security too. Many wireless networks are open to risk, but the wireless Internet services use only the most secure systems and protocols. They also have a surprising strength that often allows a single tower to remain functional at ranges of three to ten miles away. This is dramatically more efficient than other modern wireless networks that have maximum ranges of only a few thousand feet.

With a 4G WiMAX network, someone who has to stay in touch with the office throughout the weekend could still enjoy a huge amount of freedom. Wireless Internet access would remain available to them even as they run errands, spend time with friends and family, or head to the nearest park or sports arena too! Now that’s the way to work!
