Mobile Wireless: the Way of the Future

March 9, 2010 | Author: | Posted in Communications

Are you one of those people who still want to hold on to the hard wire connection you have on the Internet? Well, brace yourselves, because you might to have any choice in the matter in the future. Everybody is going wireless, from cell phones, to telephones to dog collars, so your Internet won’t be too far behind.

Technology is being driven so fast that even a few years ago we couldn’t have imagined the world being largely connected to the Internet from a wireless connection. Heck, ten years ago there were not nearly as many people who even had email. Now, if you don’t have an email account you are in the dark ages! Just imagine where out technology will be in ten more years. We might have wires coming out our head so the Internet can be beamed directly to our brain and bypass the cellular device! What type of technology would they call that? Device free internet access?
Ok, that’s a lot extreme, but way down in the future it might be too far off from what they can create. Wireless will be a way of the future, but not directly to your brain. Yet.

Wireless is the way of the future for many reasons.

Wireless is convenient. We are a time driven society where everything we do in our life has to be convenient. If it takes too much time, people won’t bother. If a device makes multi-tasking easier, then try and add another task on to it to make it even more efficient. Let’s talk, type, surf the web and program dinner all at the same time now. The more convenient something is, the more it is used, which leads to the next point.

Wireless is always developing the next faster network. The more use you get out of a wireless carrier, the more and better technology they develop. Could you imagine ten years ago that you would be able to surf the web from a small device in your hand AND talk to a person on a call at the same time? No way. Yet you can easily do that and pull out a keyboard on the phone pad to type in your message. Unbelievable.

Wireless is easy. All you have to do to connect is keep pressing buttons. There are no messy hookups, not wires to keep track of, no loading and installing disks in to a computer. It’s all plug and play, which only takes a few minutes worth of pressing buttons to accomplish.

Wireless will continue to be higher tech. Wireless carriers want to keep their customers and keep them happy, so they keep on developing smaller, faster and more convenient technologies. The more the technologies are developed and bought the cheaper the price will be. When one technology is developed to its fullest, the researchers and engineers will be on to the next one. Can you imagine what technology and devices we will be discussing in ten years?
